Gulmarg — Gondola Ride & Snow Activities
After breakfast, drive 56 km to Gulmarg (Meadow of Flowers), one of the most scenic hill stations in India and home to the world's second-highest operating cable car. Board Phase 1 of the Gulmarg Gondola to Kongdori (2,650 m) for panoramic views of the Himalayas. Optional Phase 2 takes you to Apharwat Peak (3,980 m) for year-round snow. Visit Betaab Valley — named after the 1983 Bollywood film and surrounded by dense pine forests — and Aru Valley, a pristine highland meadow perfect for photography. Enjoy pony rides and trout fishing at leisure. Overnight stay in Srinagar hotel, with dinner included.
Sonmarg — Thajiwas Glacier & Zero Point
This day post breakfast from Srinagar hotel now drive 80 km to Sonmarg (Meadow of Gold) at 2,730 m. Hire a pony or local taxi to reach Thajiwas Glacier, where you can walk on ice even in summer.
